I just received this product today. It arrived earlier than expected which is nice. I got it specifically for a cat because I was concerned about her cognitive health. It's almost like people witnessing a sunset. When night falls, she will periodically scream and look at the ceiling. She doesn't have any other issues like forgetting where her box is and all, but I figured I'd try to nip any cognitive decline issues in the bud since she's 14. It's certainly too early to know of any health benefits, but I do want to mention that my super-fussy, screamy kitty LOVES the taste! I opened the jar and immediately smelled it. I thought she would never eat it. Well I brought her a glass and she sniffed it and then she looked VERY interested. So I got some wet food (the kind she doesn't even normally like but had on hand), added half a scoop and mixed it up really well. She ate every last crumb! I was shocked and very happy! Another of my kittens came to the bag which had a tamper evident seal. There was still some powder on it. He stuck his head in the bag, grabbed the seal and started licking the gunpowder! He's also very picky! I hope the other four like it too because they aren't that picky. So if the taste bothers you, I'm willing to bet it won't be a problem.
