Great for recording speeches and vlogs
Bought this to record my Toastmasters speeches and improve my public speaking. It's day and night how fluffy the mic really is to project my voice onto my phone. I used to hear shuffling and rasping noises from people nearby where I centered my phone. Now my phone picks up the volume closer to the microphone. It's also very handy when I'm outdoors to block out wind noise, when I'm video noting, or when I'm sending something to friends.
