The best thing about acastat it's fast loading speed. It supports multiple file formats like csv/txt so you can load your own text as well if needed. I am not fond of macros interface which could be better designed for more user friendly experience. You need some basic knowledge in programming but once learned its very easy to figure out how things work behind scenes (like syntaxes etc.). Data format support and ease of using this tool are my favorite features because they help me save time by doing less manual tasks than other programs require. My most common task was importing datasets with different types in them such as numeric numbers, dates, strings etc.
