A really decent tablet/laptop hybrid.

As I expected, the Surface Pro is a really decent, solid tablet-laptop hybrid. Although the processor is quite outdated for 2019, the system is fast and has enough power not only for browsing and multimedia, but also for development. The screen quality is excellent. I do have to increase the brightness a bit in sunlight, but this is a common problem with almost all devices with an LCD display. LTE is a real killer feature for me. I no longer have to rely on WiFi or use my phone's mobile hotspot feature (which drains my battery quickly) to access the internet. The LTE modem is really fast, I've seen real speeds in excess of 100Mbps. However, the battery life is mediocre. If you don't turn down the brightness, the battery will only last 4-6 hours. It doesn't matter to me as I have a large 20800mah 15v power bank that allows me to use my Surface Pro all day on a single charge. Another downside is that to properly use the Surface Pro as a laptop, you need a Type Cover, which is quite expensive. If you want to draw or take notes, you'll probably also need a pen, which is another costly addition. I recommend that if you don't need LTE, always get the latest Surface Pro (6 at the time of posting). writing this review). But if you need LTE, this model is practically the only sensible choice. To sum it up: Pros * Solid build quality * Powerful processor (albeit quite dated for 2019) * Great quality screen * LTE ! Cons * Mediocre battery life * Expensive extras You need the Type Cover, which is quite expensive.
