I bought these shoes for my 6 year old junior basketball player. They look good and feel comfy until a day later when she reported that fastening these sneakers (super quick and easy! No laces!) hurt her. in front of her ankle. Basically, the tongue doubles as the middle between two Velcro straps, and when she tightens the shoe, she puts too much pressure on her ankle (where the tongue touches her). Too bad, because we love how easy it is to "tie" these shoes! We return to the more comfortable but problematic Team Hustle D8, where the Velcro destroys the laces but holds them back.
