UPDATED: It turns out that most timers are downright unreliable. Every morning my children run and see which light has not gone out. Then randomly one of them turns on after 8 hours of inactivity instead of 16 hours. I still love the design and how they stay behind the blinds. The remote works well but the timer is weird. Not ideal if you want your home to look like someone is home when you travel on vacation. This is a very cool suction cup design. My kids can close the blinds without knocking them off the windowsill. A few fell off in the first few days, but dipping the suction cups in very hot water and softening them very well before applying fixed them. Then the remote control works perfectly. Tip: Insert all the batteries, turn them off and put them back in the box. Every time you want them all turned on, turn them all on on the box, start the timer, and then place them in your windows. Unfortunately, the five timers do not work consecutively. I've been trying to reset them for 5 nights now but they just stay on all night. But other than that, I'm very satisfied and would recommend it.
