Obviously you can't fly a razor that uses a 'free blade' like this, which is why I lost my first at TSA. After being tagged by security, I had only two choices: get out of security and throw away the blade inside, or hand in the entire razor right away. Just dropping the blade on the "safe" side of the fuse wasn't an option for some reason. Ironically, they didn't confiscate the entire pack of blades, which I also unknowingly had on me. Anywhere, this razor is good for a regular shave, but does a great job trimming your beard - a great alternative to a straight razor. This razor has two different length handles and I have no problem with the shorter one. I usually hold the handle with my fingertips for better control. So if you want to hold it like a baseball bat, I suggest getting a longer one. I also recommend opening the butterfly latch around the razor after each use to give it a good rinse, then leaving it open between uses to let it dry. This prevents rust and shaving foam from building up and extends the life of both the individual blades and the razor itself. Overall I think this is a great product so happy shaving!
