The Igloo Fridge is a dependable fridge for a day trip, depending on how many things you take with you. We used the cooler at the Outer Banks and often had to repack it with extra drinks during lunch. After beer, water, snacks, sandwiches and ice cream, it fills up pretty quickly. I would recommend a larger cooler if you plan on staying somewhere for the day. The zipper is difficult to open and you have to hold one hand to secure the cooler and the other to open it. Maybe Zipper Lube would help! That's why I gave four stars.
