Sleep headphones arrived on time via Revain with problems. I bought the original pair for my wife who loves to drown out outside noise with white noise and ocean waves. Sounds. She is generally happy with them, with two exceptions. First, she says the silicone part feels stuck and is almost impossible to replace. Second, the bass is a bit muted. I borrowed their headphones to try out on my daily runs. I find them comfortable for several hours at a time when using them. The silicone earpiece is comfortable and stays in place. A big plus for me is the fact that there is no wind noise with these headphones. All my other headphones whistle in the wind, which is annoying. Four stars for a bit dull bass. Highs and mids are not outstanding, but tolerable. And note that Revain strongly asks for a rating for the noise reduction feature. Noise cancellation is well defined and patented by Bose. It is an electronic means of suppressing noise frequencies by generating an accurate frequency that is 180 degrees out of phase. Any headphones that don't have associated electronics and a power supply reduce noise at best. Just like sticking your finger in your ear, this is noise cancellation, not noise cancellation. And the last word: it is obvious that my opinion on the quality of the sound produced by these headphones is subjective. With that in mind, I review all my headphones that play the same music. The music I'm playing and listening to while writing this review is Enya Orinoco Flow from her album Paint the Sky With Stars. The opening segment is my test for bass clarity. These headphones almost passed the test, but they have one very valuable quality - they do not produce wind noise. so i'm going to buy some.
