The first sign it doesn't work is when it arrives broken. The rods are simply pushed into the sockets and secured poorly. It's aluminum, so it would make sense if it was anodized black, but it's just spray-painted instead. When delivered, the paint was scratched off in several places. No signs of packaging damage. You will need to use the included screws and anchors to install this if you need the included screw covers. They have special screws onto which the covers are screwed. I'd rather take 2" wood screws and stick them into the rack, but the screws that come are quite short. I want to try to fix and improve a brand new towel warmer, so I'm returning this one.
