It really works - don't waste your money on pet store brushes

I've had trouble using pet store finger brushes (the ones with bristles on one side only). they don't last. My fingers are too big for my dog's mouth and when I put my fingers in, the bristles don't line up with the surface of the teeth. I finally stopped brushing my dog's teeth. But lately I've had to spend a lot of money for a vet with professional cleaning. So I decided that I should try brushing my teeth again and this time really keep her teeth clean. This round brush was so easy. From the very first time I can place it in the back of my dog's mouth to clean his molars and move it at different angles and even get inside his teeth. She allows it because it's thinner than my finger. The bristles are just the right amount of softness - not too soft and not too hard. My dog is about 15 pounds terrier. And it's the perfect size for her. I also have a round brush and I think with practice it will work too. This is more precise but requires more care in tilting the brush at the right angle. Perhaps this one is better for more targeted cleaning in specific areas, while this one is better for cleaning around the area.
