Only one pair can be used

When they arrived, a pair had ribs on the blades and couldn't cut anything. Looks like they're not done yet. The other pair had polished blades, but they were loose. Both came in sealed boxes. I had previously purchased tailor's scissors from the same company and was very happy with the quality so this was a disappointment. At least one pair could be used, but the screw could not be tightened.
