I have used them as kite clips
These are cheap lightweight plastic connectors or gizmos that I needed for kites. I bought a couple of cheap kites from Revain that were very similar to my more expensive store bought kites. The difference was that cheap kites had a mess of rope and no clamp, so you had to tie knots. The more expensive kite came with a lightweight plastic clip that tied several of the kite's lines and connected them to the flying line. So these things made it. They make excellent kite clips.
