I needed shoe space in the garage and I am in love! It is very stable and has the ability to connect to the wall. Since I do not have children, I did not use the brackets. It looks really high end and was a successful purchase! The only annoying part about building the bookshelf was the twisting of the allen key. I have a weak grip so that part was a little challenging. The bookshelf is very heavy in the packaging but opening it up makes it a lot easier. For reference, I am a 22 year old woman at 5’8 and didn’t have much difficulty.
