I was surprised when I received these glue sticks. Not because they were glue sticks. They all melt in my high temperature gun (Surebonder mini). But they are crystal clear! The glue sticks I always bought at the craft store were clear, or so it seemed to me. Maybe because they were dual temp and not high temp I'm not sure but I was very pleased with the fact that they are crystal clear chopsticks. through lots of glue sticks would be an understatement. They connect craft sticks and birch plywood very well. I've never had a problem with them falling off or peeling off, even using just a little bit of glue. They also bond Lexan and wood very well. I use Lexan for Windows. Even high-temp hot glue won't hold stone, glass, or other heat-retaining materials (like marble, which stays warm when heated and cool otherwise). The cold surface just makes the glue very smooth and hard and doesn't last long. Ideal for craftsmen. I've used it to glue wood, plastic, fabric (use low heat for fragile fabrics like silk), rope, and painted surfaces. Very durable when dry, it only takes about 20 seconds to dry. You only have about 5 to correct mistakes. And I've found that when you put it on your fingers your fingers immediately rub together and it rolls up the glue and saves your fingers from nasty burns. If you just shake and say you get blisters ;)
