I have a 14 month old mixed beagle/cattle dog puppy that is a BIG chewer! I was told to try her on the (unscented) bully sticks and she loves them. BUT… once she chews the stick down to a nub, she tries to swallow it! I have to force her to give it to me, and it can be a battle. I bought this Bully Stick Holder and lo and behold…. It works! It’s made of a dense rubber/plastic material and right out of the package it felt like a quality product. I put the bully stick in the slot and tightened it down as instructed. It works perfectly! So far, my puppy has not been able to loosen the grip on the stick…once you tighten it down, it’s there until you remove it! No more worries about my puppy swallowing the nub of the stick potentially resulting in serious injury or blockages, not to mention the vet bill $$$$$!
