Review on ๐Ÿ”’ Superior Performance & Durability: Anchor 9473 Transmission Mount โ€“ Secure Your Vehicle's Efficiency by Gerald Mohammed

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Quality is better than some but nowhere near 'OEM'

This is a preview. I've been using this anchor mount in my car for a couple of weeks now and I'm not entirely sure if it works any better than other inexpensive aftermarket mounts (DEA, Eagle, Febest, Motorking etc) which have given me a headache for a headache. This anchor mount moves sideways a lot under acceleration and shifting gears, despite the fact that other engine mounts were swapped out at the same time. Also, it didn't have rubber wings on the side as shown in the picture, which is fine. Unless the rubber fails completely and the mount starts making metal-to-metal contact, which is what these gaskets are designed for. impede! I love that the Anchor includes a counterweight/damper that other "cheap" drivetrain mounts don't have, but it's rubber and not cast metal like the stock mount, so I doubt it's as effective. I'll update this with my findings shortly as I plan to inspect the mount again in the next few days after a bit of riding.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
