Could be a little smarter

I bought this to use with a plug adapter for my truck. I have one of these that you apply 9V to and plug into. However, the truck quickly sucks that 9V down to 7V and you have to reprogram everything. I wanted one that would connect to a real 12 volt battery. Haven't used it yet but can't figure out why it's not working. But why can't they make it with a small backup spare door? If you forget to open the door and turn on the light, or the positive cable slips out of your hand and hits the metal, the fuse will blow. All storage drives have a fuse to protect against damage in case something goes wrong. This is kind of a sacrificial part, make it so that it can be replaced without completely disassembling it.

Pros
  • β‘£ : save car OBDII computer settings, because our device is equipped with 2m cable, it is convenient when you don't have jump starter (or lead-acid battery) at hand, and the device can also be purchased 12 -V power supply from cigarette lighter of another good car. Just plug the cigarette lighter into this car and plug the 16-pin connector into the OBD port of the car you want to change the battery in. And now you can replace the battery.
