Each of my Ford Explorer console cup holders has four spring points to hold different sized mugs, but they are so strong that when I try to place my Yeti mug on them, it stops and suddenly slipped. and spills coffee. I also used one to rest my phone and it rattles. Not now! Wow, the flexible holder fits the holder really well and keeps the springs pushed back allowing my Yeti mug to slide in easily and securely! The added bonus of a phone holder that I wasn't expecting or dreaming of, but it's the perfect solution for attaching/holding my phone. It's strong enough to hold your phone securely, has an open bottom for the charging cable, pivots to any point, and STAYS. I've used quality Kuryakyn products on Harleys for many years, so I'm not surprised at the workmanship. Ford should offer this for all cup holders on its vehicles.
