I wanted the protein powder to complement my pea protein powder and have no added sugar so it's perfect. I use a teaspoon in my smoothie every day along with a teaspoon of hemp and a teaspoon of organic pea protein. These three proteins work synergistically to be well-absorbed by the body, and a teaspoon of each doesn't overwhelm the cherry, banana, and strawberry flavors I add. I don't add veggies to my smoothies because I've found that chewing and saliva are required to digest veggies and break down many of the nutrients they contain.
