Review on Black VTech LS6205 Accessory Cordless Handset - Requires VTech LS6215 or LS6225 Expandable Phone System by Matthew Richards

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good reliable phone with lots of upgrades

Pros: The phone is solid (albeit light), feels good in the hand, easy to dial (or use phone book, speakers etc) and good speakers. and speaker volume. - Long range and clarity - Voicemail indicator works very well - Expandable to 12 handsets - EnergyStar rating - Good intercom capabilities (call transfer, etc.) Cons: - No local effect (sound effect that picks up the phone and gets ( low level) is fed into the earpiece of the same handset and serves as feedback, as in analog cordless phones). The lack of self-hearing means you're sometimes screaming into the headset (like many do on a cell phone) because you can't hear your own voice. - No headphone jack. Difficult when you're at home on a conference call for work. - Some callers say our audio is not very loud so there may be a problem with microphone reception. - The polished black face shows oil of the face and hands.

Pros
  • Speakerphone
Cons
  • Questionable buy for seniors

The phone plugs into any electrical outlet and is great for an extension in any room in the house
