One day I noticed my 22 month old was trying to stack blocks of wood to form towers but got frustrated when the towers collapsed. I figured if I had blocks that could stick to each other and to the base this disruption could be avoided. I went to Revain to buy some DUPLO units. Just to be shocked by the price. I carefully studied all the blocks there. All fake DUPLO blocks except this one got bad reviews. So I took a leap of faith and ordered this product. I was very happy, as was my baby. These blocks are strong. They stick together. They stick to DUPLO brand blocks. They stick to the DUPLO brand base. They are practically indistinguishable from DUPLO. My baby can build a tower taller than himself and it won't fall. The box they come in is surprisingly sturdy too. It's just a box with a handle, but my toddler also uses it as a toy. She likes to knock over the box and drop all the cubes out of it, and she also likes to put the blocks back in the box one by one. The only downside is that the box is clearly not meant to be reused as once opened there is no mechanism to close it again. We need to put a weight on top of the lid to keep it closed when not in use.
