The heavy brass handle alone is worth something. The head, although made of zamak, is beautifully finished. This is not a soft razor. If you want soft, use the old Gillette technique or the modern van Der Hagen/Weishi. But it's also not a tremendously aggressive head. It's stuck in the middle.
