They don't work with SSD drives!
I bought a pack of these red cables to have as spares and to know if I see a red cable it was USB-C to USB-CI. I transferred the file from one computer to another. and all of a sudden i started having problems. Having trouble reading my new Samsung SSDs with these cables. I thought I had defective discs. I went with the original cables that came with the Samsung drives and everything works great. So there is definitely a quality issue with these cables. I don't recommend them.
