Nickel-free stainless steel is nice
I like this sauce pan for the most part, but the handle on the lid gets really hot and you have to handle it with some heat shielding pad or mitten. After one time of careful use, some part of the soup remained after a good wash. This is rather disappointing. I hope the "nickel-free" material makes up for these short comings.
