Ordered these hoping to get a 'good' unit without the issues mentioned in these reviews. Plugged in upon arrival and waited 3 days and the charging indicator was still red (charging)! I decided to use the remotes to see where the charge level was and both remotes were fully charged. Although the charging lights were still red (charging) when the remotes were in the charger. I played games for a couple of days without charging the remotes and when I put the remotes back in the charging station the lights went red (charging) again. The next morning both charging lights were green, fully charged! I've been using the remotes for about two weeks now and the charger seems to be working properly. They both charge (red light) after using the remotes and are fully charged (green light) when I get up the next morning. I suspect that the batteries that come with the charging station need to be "bled" (use - charge) for a few days before the charging station works properly. I ALMOST SENT THIS BACK when they didn't work initially but I gave it a few days and now it's working great. It is recommended that you first charge the batteries provided with the charging station overnight (at least 12 hours) and then use the remote controls until they are almost empty before charging them again. It looks like the docking station is properly calibrated and the remotes are charging properly - red light while charging and green light when fully charged.
