Airtight, plastic seems fragile
We use this to store coffee beans - maintain freshness of a 12 oz. bag after opening. The key advantage is clearly the lid's feature that pushes air out of the box and keeps the box sealed. It seems to work quite well. Without this feature we would use OXO sealed boxes that we use for other purposes. The lid can be separated into two parts for cleaning.Cons: washing the lid can only be done manually. The plastic box seems fragile - while we have not dropped it, it may not survive a fall. The price can be cheaper for a plastic product.
