50/50 chance of working on an old laptop
Attempting to get rid of the DVD drive and turn it into an extra hard drive bay for a very old Dell Latitude E6400 laptop. Still a workhorse with a minor update, it still has many years to come. However, this device will not work with a laptop. The bay is powered and the SSDs are powered. However, it is not recognized by the laptop.
