Review on Leatt Hybrid Guards Large X Large by Tim Hull

Revainrating 2 out of 5

If you don't mind, slide the pads over.

Ok I just got these pads and I'm in doubt as to whether or not I'll keep them. In my opinion, Raceface makes the best lasts for ease of use and comfort, but they feel a bit soft on heavy DX lines. although i would try them as they are a good combo as i always have 2 sets of pads and my other kalis screwed me up. I will list the pros and cons. Pros Lightweight hybrid perfect for aggressive enduro and trail riding or ie. And the fact that they're a slip-on, not clip-on, pulls out a lot of leg hair trying to put them on, which is a painful process. Update: Driven 5 miles and these pads are a nightmare! The knee digs into my thigh, leaving a nice red stain. They protected my shin well. I stepped on the pedal and they did their job there, but the hole ride was uncomfortable and I don't think I'll ever use them again. I will sell or offer them in listing C were never in the right position, I was dying to swell in 2 weeks and am already looking for replacements for these pads

Pros
  • New Improved Hard Sliding Shin
Cons
  • I don't really like it, it's ok
