Add another 5 stars to the rating. Item arrived today on time and well packaged. You are looking in good shape. I put the battery in and they turned on with no problems. The remote control also works perfectly. The remote has a range of 5 to 8 feet and requires a straight line of location. The shorter of the three has the shortest distance, which strikes me as odd. The candles look real, at least my wife thought so at first. When she saw it, I knew she was like this: why the hell doesn't he have something under those big wax candles to catch the melting wax? Yes, the candles were for the woman in her time. The dimmer and the light on the remote control work perfectly. I can't understand how real they look. I will update later. Update from 06/20/17 OK. I've found another benefit of these candles and I'm not sure if it works for others. If I set the candle timer to turn off after 2 hours it does exactly that. The good thing is that the next day at the same time of day I turn off the candles, they turn on automatically at that time. So if I click on the 2 hour timer at 9pm and the candles go out at 11pm, the candles will automatically light up at 9pm the next day which is turn off time for us, which is a great feature is. I love these candles which are even bigger today. Updated 07/02/17. Received three more and the candles work well, delivery on time and reasonably well packaged. Updated 09/18/18. A house. Item stats have changed. The originals still work great. These new ones glow well like candles and flicker at night just as real as the originals. It's still beautiful and from afar they move like candles. I like the timer deal. The remote timer works by selecting a time limit of 2 hours or 4 hours etc. For example, if you start the timer at 9pm that evening, it will run with the 2 hour timer selected, the candles will turn off after 2 hours. Candles still come out the next day at 9pm.
