I bought this computer for a young man who is going to study architecture. He needed a high-performance computer and the Dynabook was just what he needed. I always buy Toshiba and was surprised to see that Toshba sold their computer business. My guess is that Toshiba Corporation still owns this division and just spun it off as a holding company. I didn't have time to check why they did it, but I will. Also, this particular computer has a DVD drive, which is being phased out in favor of MP3 or 4 players with USB ports. I'm 74 years old and was considered a geek in the 80's/90's. But as soon as I retired in my 50s, I stopped following new technologies and just enjoyed life.
