I bought these shoes hoping that my feet would stop hurting and after hearing positive feedback about the 'brand' from my family " received. Unfortunately they turned out to be related to two other brands and NOT Rockport even though my dad used to wear them. In any case, I was expecting a difference from the regular Nike/Adidas I'm used to. no such luck. I was willing to sacrifice the styles I love so much in other shoes if the promise of more comfortable feet was fulfilled. I find that prolonged standing is just as tiring in these cases as it is in others. The shoe cushion is nothing special and in fact my feet felt hotter in them than in my other shoes. What I also don't like about the lack of comfort are the very short laces. making it difficult to tie a knot that will hold. The length of laces combined with their type (solid, round, or flat) makes it difficult to tie a knot that won't untie on its own. In the end I probably just wasted my money on this since I was already back to my old sneakers. It's really tedious as the only way to really tell how the shoe will perform is when you use it (after that you can't return it). I hope someone else
