This is a nice cup and feels good in the hand. Some cups are heavier in one place than another. But not this cup, I can hold it and it's balanced, I don't get tired and don't feel like I need to correct the way I'm holding the cup to improve grip. The brew basket is a wonderful thing, it really helps my tea leaves open up and brew the perfect cup of hot tea in the morning. WHY 3 stars: My problem is that it broke. The glass lid you use to brew your tea is broken. And "TEANAGOO” company will send a note with email address if something is broken when it arrives to follow the next steps to replace the part. I have done all the steps only to get the reply that they will not help as they are sent from Amazon. Terrible customer service, just terrible. So since they don't keep their word on replacing anything that broke in shipping, the item only gets 3 stars. I've never had a spare lid, instead I use a plastic lid for food storage. Sad face.
