Update: I received a replacement at no extra charge and it works great! Give full 5 stars now. Edit: The company contacted me after I submitted my review and they asked to give them another chance. I love the fact that they believe in their product and demonstrate it with their customer service. I have agreed and am willing to reverse my review if the new cables work. I've already raised my stars to 4 and that's because the mics work and the customer service is great. I will update this review as I test new cables. My original 2-star rating: The mics work well. Too sensitive and require adjustment, but they work. Extension cords, on the other hand, are completely useless as the female part doesn't take up the entire male part, resulting in a buzzing background noise that renders the mics unusable! See photos. Not realizing that the male part could not fully penetrate I tried force which resulted in the black metal casing of the female part coming loose, see photo! Microphones are useless without extension cords unless you plan to use them with your phone or sit directly in front of the camera! I need to buy another extension or wireless kit separately to use these mics properly.
