Review on Rechargeable COBRA ACXT390 Walkie Talkies - Long Range 23-Mile Two Way Radio Set with VOX (2 Pack) by John Banks

Having used various models of similar products in the past, I expected to be able to hear what was being transmitted from phone to phone. I decided my previous experience with Cobra products was enough to continue and after reading the reviews I purchased this set for our trip. I was very disappointed with their performance. The range sucked. The sound quality was crap. The only positive thing I can say about them is that they have very good battery life on a single charge, but since you can't get anything out of them but a distorted, half-understood sound, that's a moot point. Buy another brand because Cobra has lost the ability to make a quality product.
