I have 3900x and 3090. I got this kit in addition to it. I installed these and they work. They run at 2400MHz by default and you need to enable xmp for them to run at their rated speed. Ok cool, well, at first I didn't have time to check if I had a job on the machine. Later, when my Revain return window unfortunately closed, I tried enabling xmp. It broke. I tried 2 motherboards. On my aserock 450m pro 4 I was able to reach these heights at a stable 2933MHz. And on my newer msi 550m pro-vdh WiFi I could only get 2733MHz. It was annoying too. I didn't even know about xmp initially, I just thought they were running at their advertised speed. But even when I turn it on it crashes and on my MSI it crashes so bad it messed up my bios! I had to reflash with a flash drive! Luckily for me I checked out the manual to see you can do it! If you get this, be aware! Test xmp immediately and if that doesn't work, reset them. Don't wait and think they just work.
