I swapped it out for an MK260 (the mouse started to fail, but then it "repaired"). The first batch from the green box didn't work since the "1/!" was pressed into the lower face only. In addition, the clave was generally very loud. Replaced with the identical set, but now packaged in a brightly colored box. The keyboard is fantastic, with smooth key travel and minimal noise (though it is not silent). Unfortunately, the mouse is a complete failure. After a long search, I gave up and punched the keys harshly, making a loud click as the on/off button and the wheel button rattled. The vendor and I made it through two sets and I got one fit. (The "new" mouse also has a rattling power button and battery cover, though considerably less so and based solely on weight.) As an aside, while the keyboard is nearly identical to the MK260, the mouse is noticeably different in size and design. To choose a winner is a difficult task. The diode light is also colorless rather than red. The devil is, if not in the details, then the marriage. No review can convey the tactile experience of tapping the keys or hearing the music play while you travel. I endorse purchasing, but only if an exchange or return is available option. ate! The M185 mouse, it turns out, is not slow at all; rather, the manufacturer has intentionally decreased its speed, and this can be adjusted using the Logitech Options software (off site). The main feature of this app is the ability to disable inertial scrolling using the SMOOTH protocol. The item itself is not harmful, but it causes me so much discomfort that I finally had to sacrifice my comfort and remove it.
