Review on 🧊 Improved Refrigerator Icemaker, Whirlpool Kenmore Kitchenaid 2198597 2198598, 626663, AP3182733, PS869316, W10190960 and W10122502 by Ben Chase

I installed this side by side ice maker in my Kenmore Elite; in the same month 106.57782704. The point is, it worked. This is very different from the design of the ice tray. It's grey, not black. The design is lighter, less cooling fins. The fill cup is smaller and needs to be replaced with an old one or an extension tube that is added to the water fill tube to keep the water where it should be. The bottom white plastic slider needs to be transferred from the old to the new. One problem is the included 4-wire cable. There are NO small clips that snap it into the slot on the right side, making it very difficult to connect to the fridge's wiring port; KALTER plastic is not flexible! Has been working for 48 hours. Time will tell for how long, but so far so good. Many Thanks
