Summary: Great value for a nice jacket but it definitely runs small - and prepare yourself to iron them before you need them. to use it. Details: I bought this in a size 10 for my long chested 7 year old who normally wears youth medium/size 8 in shirts. I ordered a size up so he can wear it next year but that probably won't happen. The length fit him perfectly out of the pocket and the midsection is too tight to close well (he's of pretty average build - neither fat nor skinny). Still, it looks great on him and it was a lot cheaper than some of the other blazers I've compared. My order arrived folded and packaged in a padded plastic envelope. The jacket was well protected but definitely needed to be ironed before wearing. (I would do just about anything to get rid of the ironing but it was really necessary.) The pockets were sewn up too - not a problem but something to look for and take care of before your child puts this on. Overall I would give 4 stars because of the fit.
