I loved the paddle and seemed to be more durable than the ones I borrowed. But even though I had tightened the bolts before leaving, when I got to the lake and switched parts to use standing, the shaft kept slipping down and not engaging. I didn't take a screwdriver with me on the water so was only able to use the paddle when I was on board and using it as a kayak. It was a long day of sitting, but I didn't want to spoil the fun for the others.
