Worst $40 Ever Spent.
Yes, the description says that due to the packaging, the initial smell appeared right after production. However, it doesn't say it's a terrible musty smell. One night I slept on pillows and felt nauseous. Tried airing the cushions in the garage for a week. All he managed to do was make my garage stink. I tried sprinkling it with baking soda to absorb the smell. No luck there either. In the end I just threw them away. If you are considering buying them, you can just light 2 twenty dollar bills.
