Review on HONOR Band 5 Global Smart Bracelet, Black by Czesawa Wodarczyk ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Exactly as promised by the manufacturer, high quality.

My recent vacation to the pool was the impetus for my purchase of a bracelet. It's always intriguing to see your progress in the pool, but counting lanes may get tedious and frustrating quickly. Honor Bend 5 bracelet users can choose "swimming in the pool" from a list of training modes, input their desired track length, and have the bracelet keep track of their laps. It's a huge time saver. Concerning the Honor band 4 and the Huawei band 4, it is not clear from the product descriptions if they feature this option. It was also discovered that the distance was calculated somewhat off: of the 50-meter segments that were similar to one another in terms of indicators (number of strokes and tempo), two were wedged, which are considerably different from the rest. Even though the last one was obviously a swim to the steps (and I accidentally switched off the training after leaving the pool), the computer still counted it as another 50 meters and added it to the overall rankings. Some other good and helpful additions: - an alarm clock (vibration) and a colorful display with a respectable number of reloadable dials - checking your heart rate and blood oxygen levels, Launching Cameras From afar - a volume slider for playing music (implies a software ate); - a pedometer that appears to combine data from the wristband and the phone without making it obvious whether or not this is an option; - sleep monitoring, a feature that might be easily misunderstood as the next stage of sleep if used first thing in the morning when lying in bed with a smartphone in hand; nonetheless, the function itself is pretty cool, displaying different phases of sleep, the number of awakenings, etc. - Call and message alerts, with the ability to refuse calls and read through long messages (up to around 10 lines). I've been using the bracelet for two days at this point. I enjoy myself, thus it was a good buy.

Pros
  • "To begin with, it's gorgeous!":) The bracelet's design is understated and unremarkable. I went with the classic black strap and couldn't be happier with my decision. The strap is removable, so I've been searching online for a stunning dark gray alternative. Second, it is quite pleasant to hold because it is so light and unobtrusive. The rather securely fastened rubber strap of the bracelet is nearly undetectable if, like me, you frequently wish to loosen the watch strap. Doesn't keep you awake at all, not even while you're asleep.

Different pros: A fitness bracelet was ordered for a child. All functions with the description match. Some cons: Small distance of the communication radius of the phone and the bracelet. The phone should be close to the bracelet.
