This retractable handle worked well as I used it to clean the windshield and windows of our car. I'm short and I love that I can adjust this handle to the length needed to clear the top of the windshield/window. At the shortest length, I measured the handle as 15-1/2 inches (1 foot, 3-1/2 inches). I measured the longest handle at 25-1/4 inches (2 feet, 1/4 inches). Between these two dimensions, the handle can be adjusted to different lengths. .Note: When the plate and microfiber cloth are attached to the handle, the overall length will increase slightly. The plates easily attach (or detach) to the handle. Attaching a microfiber cloth to the panels will require a bit of effort. A microfiber cloth cleans quite well, except for one spot where bird droppings have been on the windshield for quite some time. The fabric didn't eliminate that mess; I used a damp towel and aggressively scrubbed the area before removing dirt from the windshield. In addition, the napkin sometimes left a streak when cleaning it. The microfiber towel is washable - I soaked it in a solution of soap and water before hand washing and then lined it to dry. retain plenty of fluids. I filled it with water and poured the water into the measuring cup. The water did not reach halfway down the bottom mark (2 ounces) on the measuring cup. Overall, I found this product useful for cleaning our car's windshield and window glass.
