Use on a full length rectangular mirror on the back of the door. It's more than long enough, easy to install, super bright, decently durable, and easy to trim. I really like the dimmer considering I'm using it on a mirror. The only complaints are that the power cord is shorter than I'd like, and due to the stiffness of the tape, it doesn't bend 90 degrees on a flat surface, causing some of the curved edges to stick out of the mirror surface, which isn't really a big deal .
