This LED strip is long, bright and very white! I arranged them as a grid on the board and placed them over the monitor as a fill light. I also use it with a dimmer to regulate the brightness. The large area fill light blurs most of the superficial wrinkles/pockets on the skin, making me look better in webcam meetings. If you're doing something like this, I'd also recommend getting a diffuser to help spread the light.

3000K seems the perfect color to me. They're not yellow at all like 2700K LEDs and they don't have that horrible blue cast that daylight LEDs (5000K) have when used indoors. The dimmer works well and offers the full range from off to full. don't even bother with glue as these things usually don't hold unless the surface is completely clean and even then I didn't really believe in it so I attached a strip to the bottom of the cabinet.

Use on a full length rectangular mirror on the back of the door. It's more than long enough, easy to install, super bright, decently durable, and easy to trim. I really like the dimmer considering I'm using it on a mirror. The only complaints are that the power cord is shorter than I'd like, and due to the stiffness of the tape, it doesn't bend 90 degrees on a flat surface, causing some of the curved edges to stick out of the mirror surface, which isn't really a big deal .

I used them in my 3D printer case. They stick at the top, point perfectly downwards and don't open even at 40 degrees Celsius. I also went with this one specifically because I can control the lighting with the watch face, which works pretty well. However, for some reason it doesn't turn off completely, reaching a point where it "clicks" and should turn off, but there's still a faint light coming from them. Therefore only 4 stars, otherwise a great buy for the price.

This is for internal use only. The LEDs are mostly exposed while the exteriors have a clear plastic/rubber coating on the side of the LEDs. So they seem to be a bit more fragile than the plastic covered ones. But don't worry, the price was unbeatable! The dimmer works very well, although it hums a bit at some brightness levels. Installed these lights on storage shelves for my small workshop, 4 runs, 4 sections each totaling about 48 feet of lighting. comes with 6" strips of 18ga 2-conductor, then I wiped the surface of the post with rubbing alcohol and glued the bulbs in place. They are insanely bright. I'm so glad I have dimmable ones. I imagine people falling down the stairs on the brightest settings. They were easy to install and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. As said, they are very bright at high and low frequencies, it's a bit difficult to find the right place on the dial, you have to turn carefully and slowly. What a great thing! Sixteen feet long with lights closer than 3/4 inch apart! I replace halogen bulbs above and below kitchen cabinets and keep thinking of other uses for them (they are such a bargain). With the lights so close together.
