Works right out of the box. The sound was very good and louder than expected. Cozy. I didn't have to listen at full volume most of the time. Simple automatic connection after setting. I use them when walking in the pool and they get wet. Sometimes I went underwater but didn't use them for swimming. After 10-12 uses (no more than 8 hours), the left earbud leaked into the charging case. indicates battery discharge to me. I don't think they are really IPX7 waterproof as advertised. The battery drain rating is far from what is claimed. The case battery is fully discharged when the earbuds were stored, and the earbuds are also discharged. The left earbud won't turn on or connect. The right earbud only shows a 20 percent charge at best (also doesn't work properly). The batteries used are absolute rubbish and these headphones are not IPX7 rated. No choice ! Revain refunded my refund and recommends throwing it away. I will sort them out and give a future update. Sound, Bluetooth connectivity, signal range and wearing comfort were very good. They must be made to specification. They fell apart too soon to be anything better than a recyclable item in the near future. Continued I found the problem. They are not waterproof. The side button and volume buttons are waterproof. There is no gasket or waterproofing material to make a statement. The battery is sealed but the 2 pins (one inside at the contact points for charging and the other next to the packaged battery) allow overheating, corrosion and failure when the liner is water filled.
