I'm quite active at home, in the garden and in the garage, so I needed to protect my Apple Watch. I ordered a set of silver, clear and black cases. My watch is black (and I think the black cover looks best) and my wife's watch is silver so she can use silver. I only had the lid for a couple of weeks until I broke the black lid. It may be argued that the watch is stronger and would not be damaged... but how do I know for sure? I suspect these cases are much more fragile than the watch itself. But for me...they did the job they were supposed to do of absorbing the shock and protecting the watch. These covers can be replaced cheaply, but the clock cannot! One gripe I could make is that the black cover had some paint scratches before the screen cover ripped completely. I don't expect cuts to show up that badly on a transparent cover. Will I order more of these? I think I will. They cost low cost just for peace of mind. PS You also just go! Just remember to put it on the crown side first. Contrary to the advice I was given...I don't need to remove the watch strap first. It just clicks in and out! I also don't see any noticeable difference in the touchscreen after installing the cover. The watch works just as well as it does without the case.
