First of all it works and the discs seem to last a long time. A lot of reviews complain that the discs chew quickly so I ended up buying several to remove polyurethane from the concrete pavers that covered my entire backyard, but no, just one disc was enough. It worked much better than paint removers and pressure washers. Now I'm going without two starts because there is a non-resettable fuse inside that will blow if the windings get to about 200F. That would be fine, except that for more serious work (e.g. my project concrete cleaning) the unit can heat up pretty quickly). And bam - without warning, the device died. Judging by the reviews, many other people had the same problem. A reset circuit would be a much better choice and cost them a bit more - I mean we're talking about 50 cents or so. You can of course replace or dispose of the fuse if you're adventurous and don't mind voiding your warranty, but folks who aren't particularly electronics savvy will have to send them back.
