The only thing I didn't like about this product is the cardboard insert in the "gasket" of the bottom on which the animal will lie down. I wish it came with a more durable and comfortable cushion already. Mine arrived askew so I had to fix it to keep it from falling to one side. I took her on a 6 hour flight south west, my Maltese fit in perfectly with no complaints. I stuffed it with a blanket and toys and she still had enough room to curl up. It fit perfectly under the seat and the airline had no problem with it not being the 'right' size they recommend on the website. kept my dog closer to my legs to make him more comfortable but the bag fit perfectly under the seat when pushed all the way and even to the sides. She is pushed closer to me in the photos because I kept checking on her! A lot of air travel goes through it if you're worried about choking. This is not a problem! And I love that it closes with a two-way zip! I love that it has a pocket to put an ID tag or even a ticket for your pet! Can't wait to take my dog on other trips! I would recommend it for flying!
