These are very durable and easy to clean storage containers. The compartments don't stay together as much as I'd like, but they're not bad and it's not that much of a problem for me. The smell though! Phew, that holds. I assumed the strong chemical smell would fade over time, but every time they opened their drawers we were bombarded with a barrage of noxious fumes. The smell gives me a slight headache, so I left the drawers open for a few days. I would say the smell isn't as strong as it used to be, but it's still there. I'll look for something to replace them because I can't imagine anything with such a toxic smell would be of any use to you.
